I'm Sue: artist, printmaker, designer, and teacher. I'm based in Wolverhampton, UK, where I'm also carer for my son (12) who has Downs Syndrome.

I've been drawing, painting and pattern-making in one form or another my entire life. I taught textiles design in colleges for 17 years before launching my own design business. For many years I also exhibited and sold landscape paintings, and I have pieces in several public and private collections.

My work continues to be inspired by the British Countryside, it's wildlife and plants. I always work seasonally, and my  designs are hand drawn or Lino printed, before being put into repeat patterns digitally.

 

I run Lino printing workshops in the West Midlands and sell my products in a number of lovely little independent craft & design shops around the region.
